Pacific style week

Pacific style week is the week of fashion and style, gathering fashion industry players in Vladivostok. Young designers from Russia, China, Korea and Kazakhstan participate in the PSW. Except the shows, guests can attend workshops, lectures of famous Russian stylists and designers, take part in competitions for the industry newcomers and students as well as in contests for fashion photographers. There is also a job fair where young designers may take a chance in securing an interview for a position in fashion.

Vladivostok International Auto Salon (VIAS 2018)

Annual auto exhibition held at tourist and recreational cluster PrimRing. At VIAS guests can see and purchase the novelties of the auto and tuning industry, auto accessories and other supplementary products. Besides, guests can enjoy a spectacular entertainment program, special contests, crash show and test drives of brand-new car and motorcycle models. The Auto Salon will operate over 3 days: May 11-13, from 10 am to 6 pm. The entrance is free.

Mussels Festival

Few know that local sea farms cultivate delicious mussels in the natural habitat. The festival is intended to draw attention to this extraordinarily nutritious and tasty Far Eastern seafood. On the festival dates, you can try 500 g servings of local mussels at participating restaurants of Vladivostok and Nakhodka for a special price ₽300 per half a kilo.

VLADIVOSTOK BOAT SHOW

The exhibition is the largest in the Far East and brings together buyers and companies that offer products and services for yachting and water activities, as well as specialized sports and social organizations. The Vladivostok Boat Show is a significant event in the life of a city that supports Vladivostok’s status as a center of yachting and sea tourism. Here sea lovers can find everything that is new and interesting in the world of water transportation. The exhibition is attended yearly by about 100 companies from Russia and the Asia-Pacific region. Over the course of a few days more than 4,500 people attend the event.

IV Far eastern festival "Green Clothespin"

The "Green Clothespin" festival is an annual event of Art park "Shtykovskie Ponds". On the day of the festival, every inch of the park fills up with festive and fun atmosphere: there are art workshops, contests, artist battles, a huge photo zone, fire show, dancing, hot air ballooning… But the festival is especially proud of its fair of unique hand-made arts and crafts made by the best artisans from the entire Far East of Russia.

“Day of the traveler” festival

Attend the annual festival “Day of the Traveler” to discover new fascinating sides of Primorkiy region, new possibilities for outdoor activities and much more. The festival program includes exhibitions of the countries of Asia-Pacific Region showcasing the regions’ traditions and culture, performances of ethnic artists, sport events, photo exhibitions and a souvenir fair. Moreover, guests of the festival have a chance to let their taste buds get а flavour of what different parts of Russia have to offer — a Street of national cuisines welcomes guests of the festival, offering to try foods of Russian ethnic groups. Last but not least, if you are a photographer, filmmaker or an art appreciator, you can join the festival contest of photography and amateur films about travel.

NIGHT OF MUSEUMS

This annual event is dedicated to International Museum Day. All of the city’s museums and exhibition centers are open until late at night and offer interesting exhibits and activities. Several sites offer workshops; lectures; performances by artists, musicians and poets; movie and cartoon screenings and creative experiments. Visitors can take a peek at life behind the scenes in a museum and even participate in creating one. On this night, Vladivostok’s visitors and residents are offered the chance to delve into the city’s history, learn about its founders, and if desired, take a trip into the past.

PACIFIC TOURIST FORUM AND PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL TOURISM EXPO (PITE)

The exhibition held as part of Pacific Tourist Forum is an outstanding event in the tourism sector, which brings together industry professionals and people who love to travel and want to learn more about the cultures of other countries. There are business meetings, presentations and conferences held within the exhibition. The exhibition presents new tourism projects and infrastructure as well as a variety of proposals for recreation in Russia and abroad. About 300 companies and organizations from Vietnam, China, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Guam, Singapore, Austria and other countries participate in the event.
